Let's follow the opening ceremony of the Paralympic Games with Federal Councillor Baume-Schneider and Swiss Paralympic!

Join us from 19:30 onwards for the opening evening of the Paralympic Games. 

At 19:40, opening speeches will be held by Federal Councillor Elisabeth Baume-Schneider, Head of the Federal Department of Home Affairs, and by Christof Baer, President of Swiss Paralympic.  The evening will be moderated by Ambassador Alexandre Edelmann, Head of Presence Switzerland (Federal Department of Foreign Affairs). 

Starting at 20:00, watch live with Federal Councillor Baume-Schneider, the Swiss Paralympic delegation and all of us on the big screen the show blending the beauty of Italy’s monuments, and the talent of its people, as well as warmly welcoming the sports delegations. Set in the historic Verona Olympic Arena, the performance weaves together inspiration for change, and celebration of unity among nations.
