From the Swiss Alps to the City: Alphorn and Yodelling Concert

The Swiss Alpine Spirit lives not only in majestic landscapes, but also in the voices and sounds that have echoed across valleys and peaks for centuries. Yodelling and the Alphorn - deeply rooted in Swiss identity - are powerful expressions of our way of life shaped by the mountains.
The Alpine garden of the House of Switzerland hosts a concert of Alphorns and Yodlers, emerging among plants and flowers, animating the space with resonant calls and soaring melodies. Once used to communicate across long distances - between shepherds, villages, and valleys - these sounds continue to accompany Alpine life today, carrying tradition into the present.
Join us in celebrating this living cultural heritage, recently recognised as UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage (December 2025): an experience where nature, voice, and memory come together in harmony.
