Alpine Garden

Discover. Reconnect. Be Amazed.
At the heart of the House of Switzerland, the Alps come to the city, evoked by the Alpine garden whose colors and scents invite wonder and contemplation - a chance to escape winter and reconnect with nature.
Here, more than 800 pieces of herbs, shrubs, flowers, plants, and rocky formations intertwine in perfect harmony. Among the perennials, you’ll find Arabis alpina (Alpine arabis), Festuca glauca (blue fescue), Saxifraga satureja montana (winter savory), Sedum spathulifolium purpureum (purple leaf stonecrop), and Thymus serpillum (wild thyme). Among the shrubs, they will emerge from the ground: Arctostaphylos uva-ursi (bearberry), Callicarpa bodinieri (beautyberry), Cornus sanguinea (dogwood), Juniperus squamata (flaky juniper), and Pinus mugo (mountain pine). And many others.
Imagination comes alive, and wonder sparks.
Don’t miss the February 14 event with the gardeners from Jacquet SA, who will share even more stories about the garden firsthand!
