Masterclass: ‘Alpine Foraging: Reading the Landscape Through Plants’
Salone delle Alpi

With Stefano Tosoni from Wooding Lab – Giovanna Frova, Swiss Cheese Consortium
A guided exploration of the wild flora of the Alpine pastures to understand how biodiversity reflects the health of a territory. Through foraging and direct observation, the workshop reveals the relationships between plants, animals and the environment, showing how a balanced ecosystem influences the quality of mountain products, including cheese, where every taste invites you to recognise the pastures, wild flowers, herbs and clear air of the Swiss Alps in the milk.
A journey of discovery, after exploring the landscape with attentive eyes and senses, the Masterclass concludes with a tasting of Swiss cheeses: not a simple finale, but the natural continuation of the journey, where what has been observed in nature returns in the milk and is found in the flavours.
A slow and conscious discovery, in which biodiversity becomes a sensory experience and the clear and colourful Alpine landscape is transformed into taste.
Participation is free, upon reservation (subject to availability).
